Common questions
- What is executive coaching, exactly?
Executive coaching is a partnership focused on your growth as a person and as a leader — not therapy, not consulting in the traditional sense, but a structured space to build self-awareness, clarity, and practical strategies you can apply immediately in your role.
- How much does coaching cost?
Investment is based on a sliding scale, tailored to your goals, scope of work, and engagement length. There's no one-size-fits-all price — we'll discuss what makes sense for you during your initial conversation.
- How long does an engagement typically last?
I believe coaching isn't a forever engagement. Most coaching relationships run from 3 to 6 months, or 9 months, with sessions held initially weekly and, as we progress, moving to biweekly and then monthly, or on an as-needed basis. Some clients continue longer as new goals emerge and the engagement extends to multiple years; others complete focused, shorter engagements.
- Are sessions virtual or in person?
Sessions are primarily held virtually, allowing flexibility and consistency regardless of location. In-person sessions may be available depending on availability. I can offer in-person sessions in NYC, South Jersey, and Philadelphia — please ask during our initial conversation.
- Do you coach in Spanish?
Yes — sessions are available in both English and Spanish, depending on what feels most natural and effective for you.
- What's the difference between coaching, leadership development, and organizational development?
Executive Coaching is one-to-one, focused on you as an individual leader.
Leadership Development is a customized program for building specific skills and strategies.
Group Coaching brings a small group of peers together to learn from shared experience.
Organizational Development is broader consulting work designed around your organization's needs.
- How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you're successful but sense something isn't fully working — in how you lead, how you're perceived, or how aligned you feel to your own values — that's usually a good sign the work will be valuable. The first conversation is designed to help you find out, with no pressure to commit.
- Is what we discuss confidential?
Yes. Coaching conversations are confidential. If we're working within an organizational engagement, we'll clearly outline confidentiality parameters before we begin.
